Once Upon A Time

In the previous post, I blabbed about a "new story". There is actually two stories (the second one is the sequel to the first one). I was asked to create how the 3d process world began and how our group was formed.

So, here they are....(enjoy!)

"EUREKA"

Wonderland, the land of colours and magic, was prophesied, by Niamh, a powerful sorcerer who has the gift of foresight, to encounter a great invasion. Most believed his prophecy but some laughed and mocked him. To avenge himself from the embarrassment, he took away the colours from those who had insulted him until all that was left were black and white. He then told them that all they would touch would also lose their colours. The people of wonderland, afraid that they too would become black and white, ordered the punished one’s to exile.

Not long after, a meteor shower rained on Wonderland. But these were no ordinary meteors, for they carried mystical beings with them. They were five brothers and sisters. Tatum, the youngest, was the most playful of the siblings. She lives in a forest were she often plays. She was most known for her enchanted liquid. This liquid allows Tatum to control vines to create or destroy her play areas. Iris and Karan were the selfish twins who were made to share a city. Iris wanted to surpass Karan’s part of the city. Galahad, the most simple and humble of the five, was an excellent builder. Iris sought his help by bribing him with gold and power. But this was not what Galahad had imagined for himself. He wanted a simple life with his own family. So he moved away from the chaotic life of the city to build his simple dream.

Iris was distraught about his brother’s departure but not because she would terribly miss her brother. Because her twin had a chance to outshine her. But it looked like luck was on her side for the next day would change their lives. One of the punished people begged Karan to help him get his colour back. Karan, seeing that he would not gain anything from this bargain, dismissed the punished person. But, from his frustration, he accidentally touched Karan and he, too, turned black and white. The punished person was given hope, seeing that he and Karan were in the same conundrum. To his dismay, Karan was in awe with his new appearance which inspired him to change his part of the city to black and white. And Iris was free to splash her side of the city with colour. Austine, the oldest and wisest of the five, requested Karan to build a wall around his city so he would not be able to take colours away from other lands.

The five never planned on conquering Wonderland. But they saw how chaos ruled its inhabitants so they decided to help and bring peace through out the lands. They wanted to share the land with the old and new natives of Wonderland.

"EDGELOOP"

Years passed, Niamh’s prophecy of a terrible invasion didn’t come true. By this time the mystical beings have returned to their home leaving their descendants – Nibor the Auspicious, Nosaj the Amenable, Anirehsna the Austere, Noiram the Precarious, Einahpets the Noble, Nerfe the Fecund, Leiram the Ambivalent, and Nivra the Pure - to maintain the peace in Wonderland.

Niamh was angered by the embarrassment he received from his false prophecy. He blamed the mystic beings and schemed his revenge on the descendants. One day, when the descendants were on a quest, Niamh made a door appear in front of them. They grew curious as to where the door might lead them. So they went in one by one not knowing that this was Niamh’s trap to rid Wonderland of their so-called invaders.

They arrived on Earth in different locations. But though they were apart they were connected by a bond. As years passed, they would have forgotten Wonderland and each other. But the bond pulled them closer as time flew by. This was the flaw of Niamh’s plan. Because he neglected to know that the union of the eight has the magic to open the door back to Wonderland.

Keeping You Posted

While I was busy doing school stuff, I was asked to create a background story for a group art exhibit that I am part of. The exhibit was about the process of 3D art, so we made a world that would represent that process. So in the "new story" I wrote how that world came to be.

Being the proprietor of the said story, I say, I can claim and post it (and do whatever I want with it. HA!).

So, I hope you'd like it. I'll be posting it in a few minutes.

Once upon a time

"JAMBIYA TAUERET"
    Dagger of Taueret

In the vast lands of Egypt,  a man named Dareh had the knack for finding lost treasure. Not only was he the best but also the greediest. For he adventured not in the name of Egypt but for his own sake. After years and years of treasure hunting, he became the most powerful and most opulent in all of Egypt. But he was still unsatisfied because he has not discovered "The Amulet of Taueret". TAUERET the demon goddess of birth, rebirth and northern sky, was a fierce demonic fighter as a known deity who protects the mother and her child. He spent most of hi life tracing the mortal descendants of the demon goddess. And alas, he has found her; Shyla the last descendant of Taueret. Dareh tried to bribe her with all the gold she could carry. But Shyla resisted, exclaiming that it was the only reminder of who she was and who her ancestors were. Furied by the girl's sentiments, Dareh called his men and took away all that was hers, including the amulet and her life. But as she dies a new life envelops her. It was her oldest ancestor. The demon goddess herself, Tauret, was born again with all the memories of her descendants. Angered with Dareh's greed, she created an entity to avenge her family.

As Dareh celebrated his victory, a gift arrived for him from an unknown source. But still he was over the moon for he has again gained a new treasure. This particular treasure was a golden dagger inside white pellucid gem. He was in such awe that he forgot about the amulet and gave it all his attention. Everyday he visited the gem, showing his appreciation to it. And everyday, he'd notice that something about it changed. And his thoughts were right because a few days later it took shape of a human. More precisely, it took Dareh's form and it was clasping the dagger with its hands. Dareh touched the gem, reassuring himself that what he was seeing was real. Then something magical happened. The gem emitted a blinding light. And from the light came out the gem but not as a gem but as a real person, as another Dareh. He was so flabbergasted by what he was seeing that he didn't even notice that the dagger, that was once inside the gem, was now pierced through his heart. But instead of death, Dareh turned into a white pellucid gem and like his paramount treasure, it too had a dagger inside. And now a new Dareh roams the world. But the new gem was lost and has truly become lost treasure.

Though there i no record of the gem being found, it is believed that the gem would manifest to the likeness of the first person who touches it. And when the dagger is pierced to its victim's heart, he or she will become the gem and the new keeper of the dagger.

Keeping you Posted

While I am creating an illustration for the nature story, I came up with another story. It's about a something that is beautiful on the outside but ugly and evil on the inside. It's a play on incarnation of a different kind. It's different because the incarnation is forced upon a living being. It's hard to explain but you can expect a certain darkness to it.

Anyway, I've updated the legend of the whirlpool. I added a new beginning and an ending. I think this is more appropriate.

Until then...

Once Upon a Time..

Dammit! I missed Halloween by 3days.

"THE CURSE OF A DEAD MAN"

At the time when Gods and Goddesses rule the world. And nine-headed dragons spread wrath. A young man named Hyakinthos lived an unfortunate life. He was but a lowly peasant whom no one appreciates. He felt that his life was so miserable that on the really bad days he thought of taking his own life. Every day he thought what he must have done to make the Gods anger him so much to make him gain an unfortunate life. And everyday, to his dismay, he could never find the answer.

When he finally got the courage , he prayed and asked the Gods. Appalled by Hyakinthos's  prayer, the Gods sent a curse to Hykinthos that he would receive when he tries to take his own life. Only Morpheus, son of sleep and God of dreams, opposed. So he visited Hyakinthos in his dream to warn him. In the dream, Morpheus disguised as Hyakinthos tries to kill himself. He slashed his wrist, plunged his heart, but he never dies. He tried again and again until he had no more blood to bleed. Hyakinthos woke up in cold sweat. Thinking that it was only a nightmare, he went on with his day.

As was written before, Hyakinthos thought of killing himself on the "badest" of days. And that day happens to be one of them. If not, the worst. It must have because later that day he plunged a dagger to his heart. He bled but never felt weak. As time passed, the pain faded. You'd think he'd died but he was very much alive, He slashed his wrist but he no longer bled. This eventuality must have shocked him for he lost consciousness. And when he awoke, he came to a realization that he just had another nightmare.

As years passed, he saw the people he loved and knew die, one by one. Seeing this, made him realize that he did kill him himself and regrets every minute of it. Being alone made him crazy. He thought that the only way to gain his life back was to gain what he had lost, blood. In his paranoia, he attacked a woman  and drank all of her blood. And when her blood was all gone, she, too, became immortal. Hyakinthos shared his curse, with it was his paranoia. Soon this curse would be named. Soon Hyakinthos's kind would be called "vampires"

Keeping you Posted

About my recent update, turns out I won't be posting my nature story. The story I've created requires an illustration to gratify the essence of the story. I will get to it out as soon as I can.
